  1. What ever next?

I wonder if my 109 year great aunt ever worried about what she ate to the extent that we are forced to at present? She certainly didn’t die of bad eating habits and bad food.

She ate fatty Welsh bacon for breakfast; regular helpings of bread and dripping; large roast dinners daily followed by pudding and anything else that was going – diets were never thought about (and neither, was lettuce, very often!)

Perhaps if they left out of our foods all chemical additions deemed necessary, then we wouldn’t have the problems they tell us we have. Obviously, if you eat or drink too much of anything it is bad for you – but we not all as daft as ‘they’ make out are we?

I am sure there is scope for the odd bar of chocolate!
